The brief
The Synk Medical Ukraine charitable foundation (БФ «СІНК МЕДІКАЛ УКРАЇНА») was registered in Kyiv on 20 July 2022 under identification code 44771005. In wartime it helps hospitals, military hospitals and other medical institutions, and its work centres on buying medical equipment that is in short supply.
A foundation like this raises money from people who will never see the hospitals they help, many of them abroad. Ukrainian medical-aid foundations compete for that trust, and the recognised way to earn it is to publish statutory documents, registry records and project reports in the donors' own languages. Synk Medical had an official representative in Europe, and a charity evening at Palazzo Parigi in Milan had its own page, so the site had to speak to Ukrainian, English-speaking and Italian audiences.
The foundation needed a website that explains what it buys and for whom, proves it is a registered and accountable organisation, and makes it easy to support the work.
What we did
Marketing MIX designed and developed the website at synkmedical.org on MODX, in Ukrainian, English and Italian, adapted for mobile devices. The footer credited Marketing MIX with "Development and support". The earliest Internet Archive capture of the site is dated 11 March 2023.
Who we are, with documents
The About section introduces the team: two co-founders, the director and the foundation's official representative in Europe. Visitors can download the charter, the extract from the state register and the ownership structure, the documents a careful donor or partner asks for first.
Needs and projects grouped by recipient
Needs are organised by who receives the help: medical institutions, the State Emergency Service, the military, and the foundation itself. Separate pages cover implemented projects and the foundation's report.
Supporting the foundation directly
The "Assistance for the Fund" page explains where donations go: medical equipment for diagnostics and operations, consumables, laboratory materials and medical goods, and repairs of medical equipment. It also states that logistics and informational, legal and financial services are paid from the foundation's own funds, and asks donors to mark transfers "For the activity of the fund". A "Join the team" form sits on the same page.
Home page and contact
The homepage hero states the mission in one line, a charitable organisation that supplies medical equipment to medical institutions, with two actions, Support and Watch video, and a click-to-call phone number. Donate and Contacts pages complete the structure, alongside the Italian-language page about the charity evening in Milan.
Where it stands today
The Internet Archive shows the site online in 2024. A capture from 25 February 2025 shows the same structure, © 2025 in the footer and the Marketing MIX credit still in place. The last capture is dated 19 July 2025.
On 14 September 2026 synkmedical.org does not resolve, and the .org registry returns no record for the domain: the registration has lapsed and the site is offline. The foundation's registry card on vkursi.pro shows its status as registered; we found no current website for it.
What we would add now
The site followed the right credibility pattern for a wartime aid foundation. Our 2026 recommendations are drawn from the archived 2023–2025 version and from what happened to the domain.
Keep the domain in the organisation's hands
When the domain lapsed, the donation page and the document archive went offline together. Auto-renewal, registrar access held by the foundation itself, and uptime and expiry monitoring would protect the one address donors know. See Corporate website development.
Online donations
The archived fund page asks donors to label their bank transfers and shows no card payment option. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay donations with a monthly option, through a provider that accepts euros for donors in Italy and elsewhere in Europe, would turn interest into support in a single step.
Language signals for search
The site had three languages, yet the archived homepage carries no hreflang tags. Adding hreflang for Ukrainian, English and Italian with an x-default version would send each donor to the right language from search. See SEO services in Ottawa: technical and local SEO.
Credibility that machines can read
Organization and NGO structured data with the registry code, founders and official profiles, together with report pages written in plain, dated facts, would let search engines and AI assistants confirm who the foundation is and cite its work. Reports donors can check
Per-project reports with the date, the receiving institution, what was bought, invoices and photos would make the report section the strongest argument for the next donation.
E-mail on the foundation's own domain
