Information we collect
When you submit a request, we collect the contact details, website, project context, consent record, source page, and campaign parameters you choose to provide. Basic server security logs may include an IP address, browser information, and request time. Providing this information is voluntary, and contact details are what allow us to answer you.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
We review and answer your request on the basis of your consent and of the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. We keep security logs and prevent abuse on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a safe website. Where a law requires us to keep a business record, that legal obligation is the basis. We sell no submitted contact information, and we make no automated decisions about you.
How long we keep it
Each request you submit is stored in our inquiry system and deleted automatically 180 days after we receive it. Email correspondence and business records that a law requires us to keep are held separately, for as long as that purpose lasts.
Who else processes it
Providers of hosting and network security (Cloudflare), email, and lead delivery process limited data on our behalf and under our instructions.
Where it is processed
We work from Canada, and our hosting and security network operates worldwide, so information you submit is processed in Canada and may be handled on servers outside your own country.
Your rights
You may ask for access to the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, ask us to restrict or object to how we use it, ask for a copy in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal takes effect when you tell us and leaves earlier processing lawful. Write to us and we will answer.
Complaints
You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when our processing changes, and the review date above tells you which version you are reading.
Optional analytics and cookies
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 load only after you choose “Allow analytics”. Before that choice, and after you choose “Keep off”, no request is sent to those services. If enabled, they receive page URL, referrer, device and browser information, and site events such as page views and a successful form submission; we do not send the form fields or contact details to analytics. Google Analytics uses first-party _ga cookies, which may last up to two years by default, and our GA4 property keeps user- and event-level data for 14 months. Your choice is stored in this browser as mmix_analytics_consent_v1. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change it; withdrawing consent removes accessible _ga cookies and reloads the page without analytics.
