The brief

Express Lawyer is a legal services brand from the same business group as Marketing MIX. The team described itself as more than 16 professionals in law, accounting and marketing. Its office was on Mykhailivska Street in Kyiv, and the site listed offices in Kyiv, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk.

The practice centred on paperwork for businesses: registering LLCs, sole proprietors, NGOs and charitable foundations; changing a director, activity codes, legal address, founders or company name; express liquidation; tax numbers for foreigners, apostilles and cash register registration; extracts and certificates from state registers.

The task was to create and promote the site. The emphasis was on making every service easy for a client to reach, with a minimalist design that keeps attention on the content.

expressjurist.com is offline today. The Wayback Machine first captured the site in December 2015, and captures from 2015 and 2016 show the same address, phone numbers and service menu as the mockups.

What we did

Design

The mockups use a blue and red palette around a bow-tie logo. The header carries the office address, phone numbers and email, and the main menu follows the practice itself: Registration, Changes, Liquidation, Additional services, Documents. Separate layouts cover service pages, a registration page with prices, an About page with the team, a news list and a contacts page with a map and an inquiry form.

Project team

A designer, a PHP developer and an SEO specialist worked on the project.

SEO

We gathered a semantic core and optimised headings and meta tags for it, rewrote the texts around that core, added links to related services so visitors can move through the site easily, and added a block of promotional offers.
