The brief
Zimmerstec supplies energy-efficient equipment for metering and regulating heat and water. Its range includes the Ultracal 201 ultrasonic heat meter, the PA 500 M-Bus controller, and adapters and interfaces for automatic meter reading over wireless wM-Bus, wired M-Bus, Walk-By and LoRa. The company also services meters.
The Zimmerstec web project presents this equipment to customers.
What we did
Prototypes and design
Prototypes and the site design. The home page opens with a large banner headed "Heat meters from Zimmerstec", followed by an Ultracal 201 block with clickable points on the device, the product's advantages, an about section with video, a numbered overview of the company's lines of work, and a contact block with a map and form. The mockups also include About, certificates, partners, news, a page on heat meter dispatching, Ultracal 201 technical specifications and contacts.
Three languages
The site works in Russian, English and Ukrainian, with a language switch in the header.
Navigation, feedback and admin panel
Quick navigation between pages, a customer feedback flow (the live site has a callback request form) and an admin panel where the client and its managers run the site.
Copy and SEO
Expert copywriting for landing pages and SEO optimisation of the site. The site was adapted for different devices and tested for functionality and usability.
The site today
zimmerstec.com is live on WordPress with a custom theme, and its footer credits Marketing MIX for "Development and promotion". The mockups carry a 2019 copyright, and the Wayback Machine holds captures of the domain from August 2020.
Testimonial
Overall, I am satisfied with the project. The MMIX team managed to bring our idea to life and build an informative, dynamic website that lets customers easily get to know the products and make a choice.
