What a Meta ads agency does for a small business

A Meta ads agency plans, builds and runs ads on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Threads, and is judged by the requests those ads bring and the cost of each one. For a small business that sells a defined service in a defined area, such as a mover, a renovation crew, a painter or a caterer, the work comes down to four things: a clear offer, ads made from the business's own material, a short path from the ad to a request, and tracking that tells Meta which clicks became leads.

Marketing MIX dates from 2012, with Kyiv roots and an Ottawa office since 2024. We run Meta campaigns together with the landing pages and quizzes they send people to, so the ad and the page are tested as one thing.

What we set up

  • Pixel and Conversions API. The browser pixel loads after the visitor accepts cookies. Every lead is also sent from the server through the Conversions API with the same event id, so Meta counts it once and still gets a signal when the pixel is blocked.
  • The landing step. A quote quiz on its own page, a Meta instant form, or a Messenger conversation, chosen by the price of the job and by who answers. A quiz page is built for the short, shifting screen of the in-app browser, so no step scrolls on a phone.
  • Creatives from your own work. Photos and videos from real jobs, the owner on camera, before and after pairs. Several versions per offer, so the first week already compares them.
  • Weekly creative tests. Every week the ads that bring requests stay, the ones that stop are replaced, and one new idea goes in.
  • Messenger replies. For click-to-Messenger campaigns: the first automatic reply, the questions it asks, and the hours the ads run, set to the hours someone can answer.
  • Lead delivery. Each request posts to your Telegram or team chat within seconds, with the answers and the name of the ad attached, and goes on to your CRM.

What you get each week

A short report with the numbers that decide the next week:

  • spend, leads and cost per lead, by ad and by audience;
  • which creatives were paused and why, and what goes in next;
  • the share of requests from people ready to book soon, when the quiz asks about timing;
  • cost per booked job, once you mark bookings in the CRM.

With both figures side by side you see which ads bring people who book and which bring people who only ask.

Results we can show

Beaver Movers, Ottawa. Meta ads on Facebook and Instagram pointed at a seven-screen quote quiz in the company's own colours and mascot. Between 28 July and 30 October 2026 the quiz logged 194 quote requests (one per phone number, tests removed). In the first reporting period the media buyer reported 16 leads on $164.23 of ad spend, $10.26 per lead (report of 7 August 2026). The 194 count covers every quiz submission, whatever brought the person to the quiz. Read the Beaver Movers case.

Korvex Construction, Ottawa. A feature-wall quiz behind Meta ads collected 21 leads in 17 days, from Facebook, Instagram and Threads. Read the Korvex case.

Who this fits

Meta ads work best for a business with a defined offer that people can react to on sight and a service area that can be drawn on a map: moves, renovations, painting, catering, beauty and similar local services. The gain is largest for offers people rarely search for by name, such as a feature wall or a styled party table, because Meta shows them before anyone starts comparing.

Meta ads are a weak fit when nobody can answer requests during the day, or when the offer cannot be shown in a photo or a short video. In those cases the review says so and suggests what to fix first.

First step: a free site review and a one-month plan

Free site review and a one-month plan first; ads management is quoted after the review.

  1. Send your site and your Facebook or Instagram page through the free site review request, or with the form at the foot of this page.
  2. We look at the page an ad would send people to, the offer, your current ads if there are any, and how fast a request reaches you. You get the three to five things to fix first and a plan for the first month: offer, audiences, creatives, landing step and the test schedule.
  3. You decide. Ads management is quoted after the review, and you can run the plan yourself if you prefer.

If the ads need a landing page or a site first, the website cost estimate gives a written quote; for an old or slow site, see website rescue and migration. Published prices are on the pricing page. For Google Search and other paid channels, see PPC services.
