The brief
FDI Group is a defence industry company from Turkey. Furkan Defense was the group's website project: the mockups carry the headline "Furkan Defence Industry" and place the company's contact block in Ankara. Going by the map in the contact section, the mockups date from around 2019.
The furkandefense.com domain now hosts a different site under the FDI Technology brand. This case covers the earlier design by Marketing MIX.
What we did
Prototypes and structure
We prototyped the site and planned its sections, along with the communication and contact pages. The mockups show About Us, a Goods catalogue split into Weapons and Armoured vehicles and tanks, Services with modernisation, News, and a contact section with a map.
Design
Seven full-page mockups in a dark palette with yellow accents, built around imagery of helicopters, tanks and trucks.
Layout, programming and testing
Animated elements and pop-up forms were coded into the layout, the site was programmed and adapted to different devices, and its functionality and usability were tested.
